transplant day 7/24/08

Transplant Day is finally here. My sister was ready become a hero, even if she hadn't thought of it that way until the doctors started congratulating her. The Marrow was taken out of her during surgery. Her surgery went well but she had to spend the night in her own room. The bone marrow went into me just as a regular blood transfusion. It was just as red as the packed red blood cells I receive normally. Although there isn't any visual changes yet, I am forever in debt to my little sister. I hope she doesn't take her power over me the wrong way???!!!! :()---OH BOY.
