The Long Haul
This is the part of transplant that I like to call the long haul. I call it that because there is nothing but waiting. Waiting for my counts to drop and come back up. They say normally it takes about 14 days for the new marrow to set in totally and start to work for you. Its just so boring. When you hear Bone Marrow Transplant, you'd think of a long straining process. Well its the exact opposite for me. To keep me occupied I've been learning how to play the guitar. Reading and writing and playing video games. I'm hoping the boredom lets up before I run out of things to do
