A problem has caught my attention on my blog. It seems that my posts on Day 2 and Day 5 didn't go up on the page. So hopefully this will work out.
On Day 2 of my Bone Marrow Transplant, I received 10cc of the Campath medication. This medicine was supposed to help break down my immune system and create space in my own marrow. The Campath was given as a "sub q" injection. Which basically means through a fatty area of the body and not an IV. For me it caused a side effect. I sparked a fever, had head aches, stomach cramps, and chills. For these reaction they gave me Tylenol and Benadryl.
Phase 1 was simple. I received the four doses of Campath throughout the four days and went home as scheduled on the 29Th. But I am having the expected reactions. I feel jittery at times. Tired, sick, anyway you describe discomfort; is how I feel. Phase 2 will start on July 15. During this time off I'll let you readers understand me as a person. But that's the start of a new post. Hope this post actually hits the web...
