Saturday, February 21 was the day of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children Sickle Cell Parent Support Group's meeting about Bone Marrow Transplants. The Transplant team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia came and gave a presentation on transplant. I was also there to speak on it. Since the doctors explained the biological and physical changes to the patients body, I spoke on the emotion effects of transplant.

Most of my friends over in St. Chris are getting their sibling tested to start the transplant process. And I am always a phone call away for extra information or a little joke to boast their confidence. I want all sickle patients to look into it because it is finally a answer to our daily struggle. They'll be no more pain, no more hospitalizations, no more strokes or organ damage. A complete transformation.
